About the Clear the Air Foundation
Established in 2007 by the Colorado Automobile Dealers Association, the Clear the Air Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to eradicating high-polluting vehicles from Colorado’s roads. They achieve this by recycling donated vehicles, primarily from franchised new car dealers, ensuring their engines and non-recyclable parts never harm the state’s air again. The funds generated from recycling are used to provide scholarships for students pursuing Automotive Technician careers. After graduation, many of these students find fulfilling, long-term careers as Automotive Technicians within franchised new car dealerships.
